Tito Ortiz Arrested for Domestic Violence
Could this incident spell the end of the MMA career of Tito Ortiz?
There really is not much I can say about the arrest of Tito Ortiz. No matter what your feelings are of Jenna Jameson, NO ONE deserves to be assaulted. NO ONE!!!!!
TMZ.com has released videos of Ortiz being escorted to a waiting police cruiser and a quick interview with Jameson as she was trying to go some where. Like I said at the top. Not much else I can really add to this. Here are the videos:
The only thing that I can add is speculation and reports are that Dana White has confirmed what might happen. Various blogs have quoted White saying essentially that if the allegations are true, Ortiz will most likely be cut from the UFC.
In the light of today’s incident, Ben Rothlisberger and many other star athletics being suspended or outright banned from making money in the sport they love, it looks as if professional athletic organizations will finally be holding its athletes to a higher standard. I say it is about damn time. Unfortunately, it will be sometime before the leagues and promotions truly clean up their rosters. I do have to say that the rosters will probably never truly be clean from the dirt bags.
Hopefully, these recent incidents will be a wake up call to parents and those adults that have influence on the next generation of athletes to make sure that they understand that there will be consequences for bad behavior and hold these kids accountable so that the bad behavior is not rewarded and will not lead to something worse.
