Paul Daley signs on for Shark Fights 13
Shark Fights 13 set for September 11th is quickly becoming an event to watch. First, the main event between Trevor Prangley and Keith Jardine was announced. Second, a bout between Rameau Thierry and Houston Alexander is named as co-main event. Now, Paul Daley has signed on to fight in Amarillo, TX. Daley’s opponent has yet to be named, but I have a feeling his opponent will be able to hang with all that have been named so far.
As you may know, Paul Daley (24-9-2) recently competed and won in Australia at Impact FC 2 by submitting Daniel Acacio. Daley was riding a 4 fight win streak before running into Josh Koscheck at UFC 113 and then throwing the punch that sent Daley out of the UFC. Just a reminder, Paul Daley throw a punch after the end of his bout with Josh Koscheck.
Also recently added to the Shark Fights 13 line up is a middleweight bout between Joey Villasenor and and Drew McFedries. Like I said at the top of the article…Shark Fights 13 on September 11th is quickly becoming an event to watch.
While all of these fighters have tasted the big stage and have fallen off in their own way, look for this event to be a platform that might bring some of these fighters back to the big shows whether it be the UFC or Strikeforce….or maybe even DREAM.
