While I love the fact that I have had the chance to interview Urijah Faber, Jake Shields, Gilbert Melendez and Jon Fitch, but what makes this gig all the more fun is talking to the guys that have yet to taste the success of the aforementioned fighters.

Meet John Devine.  Devine is 5 and 1 with his lone loss coming to now UFC fighter Chase Gormley.  On March 26th, 2010, Devine will be making his big show debut at Strikeforce Challengers 7 and his debut will not be against, as some would call, a tomato can.  Devine will be facing 2 time Olymipian Daniel Cormier.  Cormier is 1 and 0 in his mixed martial arts career, but it is his wrestling pedigree that makes him such a formidable opponent for John Devine.

Devine talks about what he has been doing since I last talked with him at Cage Combat Fighting Championship ‘Rush’ in San Francisco, CA, training at the American Kickboxing Academy, facing Daniel Cormier and what he would like his future in MMA to be for 2010.
